BHARATANATYAM TO ME:)

With a substantial basement and polished framework of this great art form,at the outset i would like to examine the extent to which this historic and congruent dance form can reach a person's heart and how much a person is to be blessed enough to master it.i would like to travel on this blog explaining what it is actually and the pros and cons of being a bharatanatyam dancer with enough illustrations and citations from real and virtual experiences.

My heart slumps to see the extent to which this art form is getting diluted and losing its richest unique quality.contemporary and bharatanatiyam have a trenchant distinctions between the two,if i ''had'' to correct myself had a trenchant distinction, now that this is fading day by day, when asked about this,to a famous dancer in Chennai, all that she replied was ,"she plumes herself that adaptability to the modern audience", is the only way to win a place in the long tyring journey of young and talented, sprouting dancers.i am not against the improvisations that people carry on,but expect them not to ruin the rich tradition of standardised performances. It has become more or less a money oriented venture.Parents do have an equal role in this overdrew lines of money and fame.ARANGETRAM is a performance by a child who has been into the essence of art form and show casing her talent with skills including poise, emotions and a vibrant, yet controlled stamina.parents feel its a question of prestige and want their children to execute and feel the exultation to the meaningless claps and unrealistic appraisals.though, on a brighter note, there are umpteen kids with short circuited mind stealing the show with perfection and derive great attributes from stalwarts.so,the question is why arangetram?when arangetram?arangetram is just an equivalent of a s.s.l.c exam.mind you no revaluations here, nor a paper pen issue where u can erase and come back efficiently.

The imperative statements made aren't baseless, the increasing Saba culture would substantiate my above mentioned statements.beyond all this,i would like to predicate the worthiness of honoured chief guests in these testing grounds.politicians, cricket stars and of course not to forget the artist from cinema industry occupy the ineptitude positions in the testing grounds.my spines sprout out in anger if this is what the art form deserves.this is a language of communication between the dancer and god.where in,if the dancer himself is not relishing the piece, what worth is it to move one's limbs and senses to the beautiful rhythm patterns and a tranquillizing music?the buck doesn't stop there.the next question how long u will learn dance?this art form is vast and endless, and it is not mere expression of divine feeling that one derives in execution, though majorly its a portrayal of feeling of bhakthi in the verses,it also involves creativity and picturesque and glorious geometry with a precise excellence in control and poise in the performance.Definitely one would not have anymore patience explaining the journey and the importance of the over all development of a child, and how dance is a major factor, which i have felt and experienced enormously with a peculiar aura every time even when it implies to an application in practical life sustenance .To add on,there are umpteen compositions which indicate the extent this art form has grown.depiction of poverty, terrorism,a lover's story of expectation, grief,a mom's love to her child,a travel to a destiny and many more,it is because of our refusal to withdraw from the rusted minds that this dance is just prayer to god!

After all this, the worst part of it is the problem of best style in this art form.it has almost turned out to be a communistic mayhem.the problem of dilution is still debatable.if people understand that this art form has its own uniqueness, definitely we can witness great developments that this art form has never seen before.its all in the minds of common man,the dignity and respect that this dance is given has made its colours fade, while a rock n roll or a bassy folk number has impressed the minds of trendy modern minds,i fail to understand why not this magnificent dance form?lastly.would like to mention i would be surprised if i can see men dancing like men.the misinterpretation of grace and the mannerism in public domain engrave the suttle and glory of male dencers.though the pathetic state of it is definitely on a better rise, the wave still travels deeper and deeper.if it is unveiled the doors are still open,or else it is more tougher to get it anytime hence forth and would twindle to much complex filaments.
